ALTA/NSPS Requirements

The American Land Title Association has established a set of national requirements for ALTA/NSPS land surveys to ensure consistency and uniformity. The latest standards were revised in February 2021 to amend the minimum standards used by surveyors to prepare land surveys for title insurance. While most of the changes were made to clarify existing requirements, a few of the optional Table A requirements were also modified.
